Description

Opti Green Fleet

This class is designed as a first racing experience for a young sailor.  It introduces racing in a low intensity environment that is both fun and challenging and prepares sailors for the Opti racing program. The class is separate from the Opti Race class but will meet with them. The Opti Green class will introduce racing in a safe learning environment.

  • Some sailors may be invited to join the Opti Race class during the season if they are ready.
  • Sailors will have the opportunity to participate in NBYA regattas.
  • The course will run 2 days/week for 8 weeks.
